"El Castillo" pyramid has 91 steps x 4 sides and the one on top for a total of 365. Visit the "court" for the ball game where the winners only had a one game winning streak as they where then beheaded. On the way to Chichen Itza we stop once (services area) for 15 minutes & again in Valladolid, an ancient colonial city with an old cathedral. 12:30 pm we arrive at the Mayaland Hotel (100 yards from the site). Lunch time buffet, drinks are not included. After you have a 90 minute guided tour of the archeological site. Now, 3 pm you have free time for photos, walk around, take a dip in the pool (towels included), enjoy happy hour or do the add-on. Depart at 4:30 & return at 7:30 Chichen-Itza

4 Chichen-Itza tours:

1) CHICHEN-ITZA CLASICO
The above itineray is the Chichen-Itza "Clasico" The Add-On includes lunch PLUS horseback riding.

2) CHICHEN-ITZA LIGHT & SOUND
Includes the above "Clasico" tour BUT your pick up is from 9:15 - 10 am at your hotel, stay for the night show return approx. midnight. This tour is ONLY on Wednesday's.

3) CHICHEN-ITZA OVER NIGHT
The Clasico tour + stay over night in the Mayaland hotel & arrive in Cancun around 7:30 pm the next day.

The Add-On includes horseback riding on the 1st day only

4) CHICHEN-ITZA EXPLORER
As basic as it gets. Transportation, guide & entrance fees (buffet not included).

What to bring: Walking shoes, a hat, camera & sun screen.
